Why Does my Android Tablet Show a Blank Folder when I connect it to my PC with a USB Cable?

Recent Android Updates set the default of the tablet to charge only mode on each connection. Change the mode after connecting the USB cable and your files will appear.

To solve this issue, perform the following steps:

Connect the USB cable between your PC and Android Tablet

Choose "Connected Devices" the Green Icon shown in the screen shot below

Select the currently connected USB device which should be your PC with USB cable

Change the Mode from No Data Transfer to File Transfer.

Your PC will now show a new File Manager Screen that you can browse.

This folder is where you want to look on your PC
