What do I do if the LCD on my MiniSting™ has no characters?

How to trouble shoot the MiniSting LCD Contrast or Blank Screen

Solutions:
Charge internal battery and/or connect an external battery and power cycle off (wait 5 seconds) turn on. The on/off procedure is required.

Check Main fuse on Faceplate

Turn on the MiniSting and wait to hear the beep. Press the MEN key 1 time to bring the MiniSting into the main menu

Adjust the contrast by pressing the contrast adjustment key is the upper right most corner of the keypad. It has a 50/50 white and black triangle symbol. You should hear a beep each time it is pressed. The screen will be very faint and then 100% strength in a loop after several key presses
