What do I need to do after loading the firmware onto my SuperSting™?

Follow these 3 important steps after loading the firmware:

1. Format Data Memory

• From the main menu, press 5 for “Data File Management”.
• Press 4 for “Format Disk”.
• Next, press 1 to start format. Once the format is finished the text “DONE” will be displayed.

2. Format Command File Memory

• From the main menu, press 5 for “Data File Management”.
• Press 6 for “Delete All Command Files”.
• Next, press 1 to delete all. During this process, the text “IN PROGRESS” will appear. Once the process is finished, the “IN PROGRESS” text will disappear.

3. Set Defaults

• From the main menu, press 6 for “System Settings”
• Press 4 for “General Settings”
• Next, press 4 to set defaults. Once this process is finished, the text “DONE” will be displayed.
