How far away can the SSM App remotely control my SuperSting™?

Short Answer: Distance varies. 100m radius within line of sight and up to 140m in urban areas.

Long Answer: The Wi-Fi connection is dependent on signal strength. The SSM App lets you roam around a 100m radius circle around the SuperSting™ Wi-Fi. With direct line of sight, you can stay connected up to 100m. A very conductive overburden will shorten the possible distance to control the SuperSting™ Wi-Fi. Obstacles that obscure line of sight will also shorten the distance.

We have been able to control the Supersting™ Wi-Fi up to 140m in urban areas where the Wi-Fi signal can bounce off of buildings.
